Perks of being sick: bedtime stories | tissues, Vick's Vapor Rub and medicine on windowsill | pretty tea things to make ginger tea more bearable | ginger tea preparations | red pearls | In our medicine cabinet you will find a corner of a Brazilian health food store
Mothers can't get sick. So she doesn't.
Back rubs, tea making, medicine measuring,
Up at night soothing, busy during the day.
Father's coughing, Brother's sniffling, Sister's cold and shivering.
Mother's administering homemade remedies, passing a tissue and tucking in.
Mothers can't get sick. So she doesn't.
Ginger tea, Propolis, Warm orange juice, baked bananas.
Crazy natural remedies that somehow work.
Oregano tea, clove of garlic in your salad, orange as a snack. (You need vitamin C)
"Drink lots of water, where are your socks?
Put on your sweater! It's raining put your boots on."
Tired, busy, among those with a cold. But mother's can't get sick.
So she doesn't.

Feel better soon!
